Below are ingredients, books and kitchen tools that can be used in this recipe and ordered from Amazon:
This recipe calls for raw egg yolks and preferably raw milk from grass-fed cows. For the egg yolks, try to buy eggs from healthy free-range hens that are fed organic feed.
2 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk (preferably raw)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
5 more cups of whole milk (preferably raw)
Separate the eggs and save the whites for another recipe. Place the egg yolks, 1 cup of milk, maple syrup, vanilla and nutmeg in a container. Blend with a hand blender or a fork until the yolks are well blended. Add the rest of the milk and shake. Serve in a glass and top with more nutmeg sprinkles.
Note: I always encourage everyone to use as much local, grown without chemicals ingredients (organic), and meat, eggs and dairy from animals that were/are free-ranging and were/are raised without hormones and antibiotics. Seafood should be wild from unpolluted waters.
