Tzadzikki Sauce - a Traditional Greek Dip

Print

Below are ingredients, books and kitchen tools that can be used in this recipe and ordered from amazon:

Recipe for Tzadzikki sauce:

1 cup of full fat plain yogurt or Kefir

¼ cup sour cream (store bought or make your own Fresh sour cream)

1 clove of garlic, minced

¼ of a cucumber, grated and squeezed dry

1 Tbls. fresh chopped dill

Juice from ½ of a fresh lemon

Whole sea salt and pepper (to taste)

Combine all ingredients together in a bowl. Serve this Tzadzikki sauce with sprouted wheat pilaf, Spinach feta Triangles, sourdough crackers, beef, roasted chicken, a plate of cut-up vegetables or poached salmon.

Note: I always encourage everyone to use as much local, grown without chemicals ingredients (organic), and meat, eggs and dairy from animals that were/are free-ranging, raised without hormones and antibiotics. Seafood should be wild from unpolluted waters.

Check out Shopping Guide for food sources.

Enjoy!
